Sing a Song 03:54
i didn't mean to frighten you, but you don't know what i've been through. it's all because i was afraid. i'm so ashamed of the fuss i've made. what do you do when things go wrong ? that's right, you sing a song... la la la la ... I really feel quite happy now, i'm sure i'll get along somehow, everything is going to be allright. I don't know what it's like lose blood, a lot, I've heard it makes you feel cold and numb, and your head is spinning and everything is hazy around you I don't know what it's like lose blood it's all because i was afraid. i'm so ashamed of the fuss i've made. what do you do when things go wrong ? that's right, you sing a song... la la la la ... and your head is spinning and everything is hazy around you and i'm sorry for asking 'cause sometimes soon like tonite tonite i'll lose blood and i'm sorry for asking sorry sorry ...

Node To Node 03:53
Swiftly hopping from node to node vacuum beneath and straight lines, straight lines it's up, forward and down and links you follow you're reaching the other side making things up as you go and they said, they said they said the sun would come out but for now it's up, forward and down drawn, coded or painted you are drawing you are lying there you're throwing your arms forward and i'm hanging to what is there and steady and you said, you said you said the sun would come out so i was waiting and i was waiting and i remembered i was told once that good things take time good things take time so for now and until then... it's up, forward and down drawn, coded or painted you are drawing you are lying there you're throwing your arms forward

in the middle of something that I don't understand reddish, softly murmured to your neighbour's ear for no one to hear. to listen to what is slowly running dripping on a slope that's made out of the inside that's made out of So you can't say what is hidden what is unknown to the shallowness of your being here to the shallowness of your being here it must stop the blabbering scribble that says nothing and nothing is here but the red of the shoes the quiet of the crowd what is it worth to you? the red of the shoes the quiet of the crowd Really the sound of it surprises you to the point where you wonder how did I end up here Really the sound of it amazes you For a march is about to start and you sound determined to go the whole way through this reddish and pulsing path that crosses so many roads where the water's running They're swollen with questions and how you wish you'd break more often that once a year. how are you occupying your time? are you waiting for tears to flow comparing them with travellers following a steep slope so you disgust yourself with emptyness and this is it for now the red of the shoes the quiet of the crowd what is it worth to you? the red of the shoes the quiet of the crowd and shall you never return

I can see the wall I can see the wall I see it's red I can see the bricks in it And that someone's leaning against it (I can see that someone's leaning...) The thing is I don't know where that is Somewhere inside my mind or somewhere real Somehow I know it's a northern street Somewhere behind a building It's standing still It is stuck there It won't move I can see the street lamp I can see the street lamp it's a link I can see the lamp I can see the link it's pretty concrete It is concrete it is engraved in stone it is cut in glass I can see the staircase I can see the staircase when it's lit I can see the yellow panes I can see the squares across the yard It's like a grid and disappears it's there every night How bad it its how deep it's hidden How hard I tried to keep it silent

Box model 03:49
Why is it that I dream so much dream so much and worry so much be angry storming out thank you so much, you so much locking yourself in letting go On a line straight straight line vector based slowing down Through Simple computations it's easy, if you try So you think, so you think It's harder when you reach the circle In real life it all come down to the same merry go round round and round in circles in spirals to the top hey here it is in my dreams what year is it ? feels like I am boxed in... But you’re angry You’re storming out You said I should Look at what’s here And stop dreaming About the things that won’t help me to grow And help you to live through all that’s left it's in your head down the line straight at the end of the alley, EOF Onto the platform, circle based Logical and so inspiring

Untitled 03:50
how you wonder how could I have left without a say and how you cry cause you know I'll never say what's under for I don't know myself and you think you can stick things back together but let me tell you you're sadly mistaken. And I know nothing about your ways and I'm feeling bad enough as it is so don't rub it in please... You said it's true that things cant be meant I know it's not a fact and it's just you and I crying and you're trying to slow the phase If you say you want me to say nice things you know I won't listen

this is where i say and it only can be said at night when i can't see what is around and it is already dark and it is morning already and i know how we should dream but do i remember what i was doing yesterday and what it is that was making me wait and not see coloured lights 'cause this is where i say whatever is passing and blooming and it is mostly for you a distraction or an occupation without weight or sense of direction that would guide you,me only as a moment or maybe another or another at times it is a positive act a statement that I and I are in this circle are so there is before i somewhat some that i know that are much too strong for me to grasp so whatever and who is it that i make myself slave to to in this circle 'cause this is where i say whatever is passing and blooming and it is mostly for you a distraction or an occupation without weight or sense of direction

in a room where the walls are close enough for my thoughts to bounce back each time I turn my head and my eyes meet a new patch of white concrete they come back at me violently each time I feel they're about to start again and hit the walls with strength and I close my eyes and I am trying to guess which direction they're gonna take I see the blue curtains fly when the wind comes in I see the sun How we dream and wish and imagine and get fragments of lives and minds and how it is not enough and how my mind won't rest and how i am scared and ravished and lost and clueless as to cluesless as to how strong the shiver will be to meet there rather than here how i want to embrace the this that we don't know but we wish we wish we wish beautiful like planes crossing the sky in the morning and a girlish voice singing in the living room and i am listening to life on mars it's a dream wake up call it's a gate opening it's a dog escaping, a gate opening a talk about a day and a 'good day' exchangedt
10.
I was sitting on the stairs it's true I was gazing away all that was in my mind it's something that you know very well is it all that i have l lived with you that brings me back to the stairs that i walked down at your place you know it's not easy to say i'm sorry i'm sorry if I harmed you more than I intended just sitting on the stairs watching the world go by I remmeber I was there I do nothing moire than say therse things to you andd all that I know is true and i'm trying to say them to say them to you are you mad at me are you sorry you met me I have left all behind i know i am no good at saying good bye it's easy for me to say i wish i had done things another way another way and now you're far you said you cried a lot you have had ... in my dreams i take pieces of your brain and i flatten them so i hope you forget and i hope you forgive and i'm sitting on those stairs i'm sitting on those stairs and i think i'ts time to stop to stop but i find it hard to stop ...

about

The skeleton of 'A ship...' definitely is the clear acoustic guitar and thomas' voice. This guitar and voice are blended, as the album gets unfolded, with other acoustic instruments filtered by electronic devices, with statics or film extracts. Melancholy and intimacy are the adjectives that describe this record best.

about

Thomas Mery Ile-de-France, France
